VA “Ella”

Hello Ella! Tell us a little about yourself first.

Hello, my name is Ella. I'm a mother of a 4 year old boy. A classic Introvert, Christian, and a bit timid or shy sometimes. I love watching Anime and Kdramas. I've asked my parents to live and stay with me while my husband is working abroad since I also need help with my child as he is speech delayed and undergoing therapy which is a norm for pandemic babies. During weekends, I enjoy going to indoor playgrounds, grocery shopping, and eating out with my kid. As a Christian I believe regardless of our emotions we shouldn't take matters in our own hands.

What was your profession before you became a VA?

I started working in the BPO industry as a customer service and technical support representative for about 10 years and in those 10 years it includes being a direct hire customer service representative in UPS Clark. After that I went to Dubai, started working part time with the help of a friend who has an agency as an executive assistant focusing on real estate. She was the one who helped me understand more about the industry. In 2019, I went back to the Philippines and that is when I discovered the opportunity of working full time as a virtual assistant. I started as a healthcare virtual assistant, calling clients to offer health care insurance for 3 months then I met a friend named Angela who introduced me to MCS. After that I met Miss Crysta and that's how I've been given a chance to be with IVA.

How is your IVA PRO Experience?

IVA was a great experience and opportunity for me, especially working from home with my baby. The pandemic caused a lot of businesses to close down, but there were also a lot of new businesses that rose up and work from home was normalized. One of them was IVA. I always believe that when a door closes a new window opens up, new opportunities for more people. I enjoyed working with IVA. There was a huge difference between other agencies I worked with. You feel the inclusion of being part of a family. Miss Crysta and Boss Darwin are very open and welcoming. Especially with my case since I am a bit shy. Christ is close with all of his disciples and that is how I feel working with them. Work feels lighter, Miss Crysta helps and supports me with my work and issues I encounter. They also match you with clients the same level as you. Having them at my back to support me helps me work better and be at peace at my job. I was able to help my family and myself. At that time I worked at night, so it was easier for me to take care of my baby, no more traveling to work and I can watch and take care of him while I work.
